Evan's Skating Party w/ Kindergarten

Evan's class went to the skating rink for their end of the year celebration, Evan had a blast.

Evan would go through and then turn around and go back under, it was pretty funny.

Limboing Evan style

Trying out skates, he is not to sure about these and was only on them for a few minutes.

Spring Family Photos

We took some pics for Mother's Day and ended up with an awesome selection for pics for the house. I already have the ones I want to order picked out and planned out on where I am going to put them and arrange them on my walls. The photographer is a friend I met through the special needs Mom's group that I belong to and all I can say is she did an awesome job. I can't wait to set up a fall photo shoot with her.

Easter 2010

We spent Easter on my side of the family this year, so it was my sister, brother and their families at my Mom's. We got to do the Egg hunt outside but it rained before we were done. All in all it was a great day. Evan really got the hang of out and even had a good system down of holding his basket with his left hand and picking up eggs with his right.

Look what the Easter Bunny brought

Mom it is too early for you to be taking my picture

Ready to hunt for Eggs

Evan and Sophia got to go first. See Evan holding the basket with lefty and picking the egg up with the right hand.

He is quickly getting the hang of things

Look at that cute little Sophia

Gabriel did pretty well in looking for eggs. You know for the big kids it is all about finding the $ eggs.

Evan can hold up 2 fingers

As in usual Evan fashion when he can't do something he usually figures out a way to do it his own way. His left hand is very spastic(tight) and he have limited use of it. His right hand is a lot better but he still has definite issues with the use of the left hand such as holding his fingers a certain way to show numbers such as 2,3, and 4. Well, in the last 6 months he has been able to do 3 and kind of does 4, but 2 has always been a tough one for him. Well, the pic below will show you how he figured out how to do it his own way.

Here is Evan's way of holding up 2 fingers

Jump Rope for Heart Feb 2010

Gabriel and Evan's school did a fundraiser called Jump Rope for Heart, it was so cool to see the whole school out on the playground jumproping.

Nicholas was very focused on jumping and did a great job!!
