Graduation Day!

Well, back in September of 2002 I began going to school

for my bachelor degree at University of Phoenix where I worked,

it was great because the education was free. I had about 4 years of schooling

since I transferred in only 6 credits so I was basically starting from the beginning and having to earn the full 120 credits to get a Bachelor degree. Well, when things started getting crazy with Evan and such, I took a few breaks and finally I am almost done. I just have 4 weeks left in my last class and then I will have my degree which will be a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Marketing.

Saturday was the commencement ceremony. It was so exciting. I used to work for University of Phoenix so I worked at 4 of the commencements and it was so exciting to know that one day I would be a participant. It was so fun yesterday. I got to see some old friends/co-workers that I hand not seen on over 2 years. Then we had a party at my mom's house and many of my family members attended and some of my friends. Thanks Lisa, Karen and Kim for celebrating my special day.

Here is the family. Aren't my boys so handsome?

I got Cynthia a new dress just for this occasion. Rudy should

be graduating next year.

My sister and I

My parents-Thanks for Hosting the party
My Grandma- she is so sweet.

My Aunt Karen & Uncle Gary-they are like second
parents and came down from the mountains to celebrate.
My nieces Mia and Celeste
The cake, Gabe is an inspiring graduate.
So I am contemplating going back for my Master in Special Education, I think I might be crazy but now would be a great time because then I could get a good job once Evan is in first grade. I might start in January. We will just have to see.

Congratulations Stacy on your huge achievement! Sorry I couldn't make it, I had church events this entire weekend. Heidi and I were talking and were thinking that the three of us could all go out to dinner. Will definetly have to plan and get together. See you soon.

That is so great. Good for you!!
I tried to take courses back in January but soon realized (6 weeks in) that I just wasn't prepared for all it entailed.

Maybe try again in a year or so.

Congratulations Stacy! I think you are an amazing woman to be able to juggle all the things that you do! I say go back & get the masters degree because you can do whatever you put your mind to.
