Here is a bird's nest that is in our rose tree in the front yard. It is so cool to have a bird's nest so close to the ground that we can see each day. I am hoping to be able to document the hatching of the little bird. We are amazed at how intricate the nest is, formed with straw and mud and so nice in shape.
Today we came home from the science farm and found an egg in the nest. I am so excited. Maybe we will get to see a hatched bird. **Update** As of May 17th there are now two eggs in our little nest. We never get to see the momma bird because she always flies away when we even walk outside. ****Update*** We now have 3 eggs as of the 18th of May. I will post a new pic as soon as I locate my camera. I hope that we will be able to take pics of the hatched birds. I think it is a red breasted Robin but I am not sure. This is so exciting.
No we did not get a new puppy, but our neighboors did. He was outside in the street when Rudy got home so he decided to bring him in the house so he would not run away or get hit by a car. Evan just loved the little puppy.
I would love to get a puppy but not a pit bull which is what this one is. Maybe a lab, springer spaniel or golden retriever. I refuse to get another Chiuahaua or small dog like that.
